Reflections, Epiphanies, Achievements, Learning, Transformation, Victories, Losses, Lessons – All of these are daily fare in my life as a Commercial Banking VP at a large North American bank.

Throughout my career and my life, I have experienced what I would call ‘defining moments’ or ‘inflection points’. A defining moment doesn’t have to be a big transformative epiphany that changes the course of my career and life. To me, a defining moment is any rich, experience-laden moment where I feel that I truly get it. In fact, any given week usually has a number of defining moments.

This blog is a collection of such moments as I work through the unique problems and interesting challenges that each day in the ever-changing Financial Services industry brings. I learn new ways to be a more effective leader and coach and try out new strategies for making a difference. I share my own Eureka moments and also the invaluable nuggets of advice from more experienced mentors that I constantly seek out.
